SHALOM PRE-SCHOOL OPENS
Whilst waiting for our registration we have been taking the Shalom children across town to the church every morning for pre-school. This was working well but with only a few children we realised that the teachers were underutilised and getting slightly de-motivated. The decision was therefore made, with the agreement of the Elders, to open the pre-school doors to the community around Greystone Park Fellowship so that we could reach out to the orphaned and vulnerable children in our own area. The response was amazing and we have 27 children between the ages of 3 and 5 years attending each day. Already the stories come in with one man desperate for a place (although we were full ) as his wife had died and he was left with two boys one who was going to school but he needed somewhere for his little 3 year old to go to so that he could go to work to earn money for food and accommodation. What a delight to be able to help this man and others like him.
• PLEASE PRAY that these children, as well as their families would be impacted by the Gospel, as a result of this pre-school.
