In the Press

For many of the Chikurubi children who had never been outside the prison walls, a trip to the Lion and Cheater Park was an extra special treat and opened up a whole new world for these little ones.

The day began with orientation. The children learnt all about the animals they were about to see from the friendly park ranger.  After that it was off to see the animals with a yummy snack break in-between.

It was 'Environment Week" at Shalom pre-school. Children were taught the importance of looking after the environment so that it can look after us.  They spent a happy morning picking up litter around their school.
